Indian indices-

Indian benchmark indices staged a massive U-turn on February 2, 2026, completely erasing the losses from the "Budget Day" crash and ending the volatile session on a high note. At close, the Sensex was up 943.52 points or 1.17% at 81,666.46, and the Nifty was up 262.95 points or 1.06% at 25,088.40.

Rupee ended at 91.51/$ against January 30 close of 91.98/$.

Buzzing stocks on BSE-

1. Godrej Properties rose 3.44% to Rs. 1,568.60, after the company reported sales of over Rs. 2,000 crores in Phase 1 of its residential project Godrej Trilogy in Worli.

2. Latent View Analytics up 9.16% to Rs. 456.45, after the company’s consolidated net profit jumped 19.69% YoY to Rs. 50.14 crore in Q3 December 2025 over Q3 December 2024.

3. Gateway Distriparks (GDL) advanced 4.16% to Rs. 60.12, after the company announced the acquisition of around 25 acres of land in Indore, near the Pithampur Industrial Area, for the development of a new Inland Container Depot (ICD).
