Midday Report- Markets off day high

Indian stock markets were trading in the green on January 28, 2026, largely fueled by a historic trade announcement and robust domestic buying. On the sectoral front, metal, oil & gas, power, PSU, Capital goods up 2-3%. At 1.08 pm, Sensex up by 0.25% or 207 points to 82,065. The Nifty advanced by 0.33% or 83 points to 25,256.
