Market Report- Sensex down 400 points, Nifty below 24,950

The benchmark indices were trading lower on January 27, 2026, as investors eye the formal announcement of India-European Union (EU) free-trade agreement (FTA). At 9.24 am, Sensex, slipped by 0.47% or 404 points to 81,136. The Nifty dipped by 0.41% or 104 points to 24,945.
