Market Report- Markets trade in red. Rupee at record low

The benchmark indices were trading lower on January 29, 2026, as selling pressure was seen among index heavyweights. Investors await the Economic Survey 2025–26, scheduled to be presented in Parliament by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today. At 9.21 am, Sensex slipped by 0.35% or 275 points to 82,080. The Nifty dipped by 0.32% or 84 points to 25,260.
