The benchmark indices were trading flat on February 01, ahead of the Union Budget for the financial year 2026–27 (FY27). Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to present her 9th straight Union Budget in Lok Sabha at 11 am. At 9.26 am, Sensex rose by 0.01% or 30 points to 82,299. The Nifty fell 0.07% or 17 points to 25,303.
