Indian indices-

The benchmark indices snapped their four-day winning streak on July 7, as investors booked profits amid weak global cues and cautious market sentiment. At close, the Sensex was down 104.35 points or 0.13% at 78,180.72, and the Nifty was down 31.65 points or 0.13% at 24,398.70.

Rupee closed at 94.97/$ Vs. July 06, close of 95.40/$.

1. Apollo Micro Systems declined 5.27% to Rs. 401.70, after board approved over Rs. 3,000 cr funds raise.

2. RITES surged 9.12% to Rs. 235.65, on over $30 m order win.

3. Cochin Shipyard fell 3.75% to Rs. 1,448.30, after Govt. launched OFS to sell up to 5% stake.

Global Signals-

Asian markets traded mostly lower, led by a sharp sell-off in South Korea, as weakness in technology stocks weighed on investor sentiment across the region.

European markets were mixed to slightly lower, as investors paused near record highs amid caution over global growth, oil prices, and upcoming central bank signals.
