Indian benchmark indices were trading with losses in volatile trade on August 25, 2026, as investors remained cautious amid mixed global cues and ongoing uncertainty in key sectors. Among sectors, except media, PSU Bank and Pharma, all other indices were trading in the red. At 1.07 pm, Sensex slipped by 0.33% or 162 points to 77,207. The Nifty dipped 0.21% or 78 points to 24,141.
