Indian equities opened on a positive note on July 06, with all major indices trading in the green in the early sessions. Broad-based buying across key sectors lifted investor sentiment. At 9.20 am, Sensex rose by 0.34% or 305 points to 78,062. Nifty gained 0.35% or 75 points to 24,347.
