Indian indices-

Indian stock markets gave up all if their gains on August 26, 2026, as profit booking was seen at higher levels. The selling pressure in IT stocks dragged the benchmarks lower and erased the morning rally. Investors turned cautious amid valuation concerns, leading to broad-based weakness in select sectors. At close, the Sensex was down 183.15 points or 0.24% at 77,472.94, and the Nifty was down 126.80 points or 0.52% at 24,207.75.

1. MTAR Technologies rose 2.15% to Rs. 7,075, after securing order worth nearly Rs. 127 crores for coolant channel assemblies.

2. Ceigall India surged 3.94% to Rs. 337.35, after Rs. 609 crore REC Power project won in Gujarat-Maharashtra.
