Market Report- Markets trade lower. Rupee hits new low

After a strong two-day relief rally earlier in the week, the Nifty 50 and Sensex have opened in the red on March 27, 2026. The sentiment shift is largely driven by a cocktail of geopolitical tension and fresh macroeconomic headwinds. At 9.25 am, Sensex slipped by 1.05% or 765 points to 74,500. The Nifty dipped by 1% or 236 points to 23,080.
