On 1st October 1991 the Company took over at book value, the ongoing business of Maxwell Industries. The company was converted into Public Limited Company on 5th September 1992. 2005 -The Company has recommended payment of dividend @ 5% 2006 -Maxwell Industries has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 3:4 -Company has splits its Face value of Shares from Rs 10 to Rs 2. -The Company has recommended Dividend @ 15% 2007 -A final dividend of 10% on the equity shares of the Company was recommended by the Board. 2008 -The Company appointed Mr. Deepak Maheshwari on the Board of directors as an additional director. 2009 -The Company had entered into an agreement with Eminence, a corporation, registered under the laws of Republic of France for manufacturing, distributing and selling the men's & women's Innerwear, Pijamas and socks under the Brand name Eminence. -The Company appointed Mr. Manish Chhajed as an additional director of the Company. 2012 -The Company had opened its 1st Exclusive Retails Store in the name "Inners" the inner wear studio for all the inner-wear at Kopar Khairane, New Mumbai. -The Company had opened its 2nd Exclusive Retails Store in the name "Inners" the inner wear studio for all the inner-wear at Kalyan-Murbad Road, Kalyan (West), Thane. 2013 - Maxwell Industries Recommend dividend of Rs. 5/- per share on 5% Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs. 100/- each.
