1943 -Best Eastern Hotels Ltd. was incorporated and was engaged in the hospitality business 2001 -The company approves issue of shares. 2002 -Members at the extraordinary general meeting of the company had authorized its board of directors to offer, issue and allot equity shares to the extent of Rs 50 lakh on a private and preferential basis. 2006 -On 5th September 2006, company had adopted annual accounts and reports of the company for the year ended 31st March 2006. - Mr. Manohar R Tambat and Dr. Ramnik K Baxi, were re-appointed as directors of the company. -The Company has recommended payment of dividend @ 10% on Equity shares of Rs 10/- each and @12% on 12% Non-Cumulative Preference shares of Rs 10/- each 2007 -Mr. Mangal Cheda and Mr. Vinaychand Kothari as were re-appointed as the directors of the company. 2010 -The Company has appointed Mr. Mehernoz C Dangore as an Independent Director of the Company. -Best Eastern Hotels has Consolidates its Face value from Rs 2/- to 1/- 2011 -Best Eastern Hotels has splits its face value from Rs 10/- to 2/- 2014 - Best Eastern Hotels Ltd has recommended a dividend @ 10% (Rs. 0.10) on equity shares of Re. 1/- each.
